Pros
Leaders are naturally skilled at their jobs. You get a lot of experience, taking on different tasks. Great for resume-building
Cons
SO MUCH TIME PER DAY has to be dedicated to admin work because of the various ways of reporting that's required. That are by the way, CLEARLY not read, not even by the one requesting them. With the level of micromanagement, and everything being considered urgent, the entire 8 hours is a marathon every day. Rarely any breathing room and when you do have, they seem to panic over it. Because everything is urgent, there's a lot of doing and redoing and redoing because they insisted something was needed to be rushed when the urgency wasn't really there. A lot of busyness for busyness' sake Timelines are supposedly set to help you manage your work but entirely useless when every little thing that comes up is considered EXTREMELY urgent. Verdict: Not meant for long-term.
