Work life balance, training is detailed and helpful, they will help you find other roles to keep you happy and within the company.

Pay is not as competitive as other insurance companies but you do get more of a work life balance to its worth it in my case, Benefits could be better and provide childcare reimbursement or 401K match.

I love working in talent acquisition at Goosehead. It offers fast growth, competitive pay, and great culture.

I cannot think of any cons. I would highly recommend applying here!

This company makes it impossible to be a parent. They do not give sick time, it must be earned. They do not allow you to work from home anymore, even though that was the biggest selling point used by HR for years. They made it a point to say it is inexcusable to work from home even if your children are sick. You will be penalized for using PTO as sick time, and if you’re out of PTO then you will punished further. You will be made to choose between your family and your employer frequently and you’re expected to choose your employer if you want an annual raise as you will be considered “average” otherwise and that is factored into your raise consideration. You are not allowed to have any pride flags or memorabilia at your desk as it is “unprofessional.” In the years I have been here, I have seen more and more stripped from their employees while they report record breaking profits year over year. Please be cautious when signing that contract!

Some level of autonomy, fair and competitive pay, clean and comfortable work environment, hybrid schedule, most of my coworkers are kind, supportive and friendly. In truth this is the best place I have ever worked. My team and leadership have seen me through some hard times in my person life and not having to stress about work has been the greatest blessing. There is truly so much support and genuine care from the people that work around you its refreshing.

In three years, the company itself has made lots of changes to the structure of operations. Though I admire and support innovation. It can often feel inconsistent and cause unnecessary stress and burn out. That being said, I do know that upper management is constantly trying to make things better so in the long run that is not an issue. I am content to trust the process for now.

The workload is tough for full time, you have to get all your clients handled, even if that means overtime but your salary is not a lot.

Good base pay, HQ is nice, good culture and a unique role unlike other BDR roles.

Need for high volume can be exhausted if you don't like cold calling
