My experience at Ghanda has been nothing but positive. As a casual sales assistant, I have found my upper managers (store and regional) super supportive and happy to answer questions. There is a strong culture at Ghanda, where everyone at my store cares for one another and generally wishes the best for the outcomes of the store (i.e., if we make budget, helping customers, recovery, stock etc.,). It is a job position where even as a casual, you gain experience across a diverse array of store processes and policies relating to business in retail. If you treat Ghanda well, they will treat you well.

The only downside is at a customer level, you will cop some customers very disappointed in the store's return policy :').

• A “part-time” management role required me to work 38 hours per week — essentially full-time with no flexibility. • No genuine work-life balance; availability and personal commitments are not accommodated. • Unreasonable workload and expectations placed on managers with little support or recognition. • Poor communication from upper management. • Unpaid 30-minute trials used instead of proper interviews, which feels exploitative and unprofessional.
