Steady place to "WORK" not growth friendly but more work less pay.
Cons
Raise are POOR, not competitive compared to the fact that even Davita and the VA and other smaller dialysis companies who purchase fresenius products for treatment of patient pay way BETTER and COMPETITIVE rate thand FMC, you can't even negotiate for a better raise, is pro rated. Growth into leadership position or moving to different departments is made impossible as they prefer to hire outside for those positions this keeping you in the same position for as long as they can because they don't want to train someone else to fill you void if you are allowed to move up or into a different internal position. Growth is seriously dwarfed for those who do not have a non favorite or relationship with an upper management. It happened to me. Was not even interviewed or was my manager contacted when I applied for an internal IT position. All they wrote was " not pursuing candidate" without any explanation. Recruiters suck, they pick the resume at the top, they don't go through the pile, they claim to hire people you give references but is a shame that's that's not the case. My manager gave me referral 3 times and had to REALLY make lots of follow up before I was hired. Think about for a minute.
