How are the career development opportunities at F45 Training?

You get to workout on your own

Grown adults who are very clicky. Tried to advance to trainer when there was an opportunity and was denied that growth opportunity I was told I had when I was hired. Short shifts and they expect you to work just as hard as the trainers while making half the amount

We do not get paid or compensated any way for rearranging the room or cleaning the facility. No opportunities for career progression there, but still a good entrance to the fitness industry.

Great facility, amazing coach talent, really cool members, the vibe is good.

not a lot of opportunities to coach, average coach teaches about 6 hours per week.

Easy format and provides the opportunity to engage 1-1 as well as in a group setting

- F45 is constantly refreshing/revamping workouts to keep classes challenging and new - Community within the studios is pretty tight knit. A lot of the members & staff already know each other from outside the gym, but a lot of them are friendly and welcoming of new comers.

- No benefits - Not a lot of upward room for career development

- Flexible schedule - Great environment - Decent workout & programming creativity from corporate - With the right Franchisee it can be an excellent place to work - Free membership! After 4 years I still enjoy taking the cardio & hybrid classes weekly.

Having the right Studio Franchisee makes all the difference - Pay is typically not very competitive with other boutique fitness studios - Past experience as a studio manager - corporate felt a bit disconnected from studios at a ground level. - Not much opportunity to move past studio manager level unless you are in a large connected network group of franchised studios (e.g. CSG)

It’s a good job if you are in need of a part time gig like McDonald’s. They will try and tell you there is a lot of room to grow, but unfortunately there is no follow through. With low expectations you should do extremely well! It is a fun place to spend time and you will get a free membership.
