Pros
Great coworkers who make daily work more enjoyable, and vacation time is fairly flexible as long as it’s requested in advance.
Cons
There’s a lot of leadership turnover, which makes direction feel inconsistent. Some managers can be reactive over small things, and the communication style can come off more authoritative than collaborative, with little room for our input on decisions. Expectations shift often, which leads toward micromanagement and cost-cutting that wears on morale over time. Contractors are treated more like external resources than teammates. The environment can feel draining, especially when time and workload aren’t always respected. There’s little work-life balance considering the salary, you are expected on-call during the weekends and work late into the evening.
