      Pros

There's some great people working there. Thats what makes this place tolerable. The benefits package is decent and there are lots of opportunities to move up.

      Cons

Salaries are well below market rate. Too much micromanagement. Toxic managers are allowed to operate with impunity. Work-life balance has decreased.

      Business outlook

      Pros

Some decent colleagues-pull together to "make it work". Freedom of on the road sales. Decent product assortment..

      Cons

Good old boys management motivated only by their bonus and towing whatever corporate line is priority at the moment. Overworked staff as they run too lean to maximize profits. IT is antiquated. Not a sales driven organization. Try to save, cut pennies and lose dollars. Management not customer focused. Over analyzing fluid market so competition is always one step ahead. Last branch morale was horrible and VP didn't really care or effect change. Semi to non talented directors in position only due to seniority. Little room for advancement, even with qualifications and talent. Commission only, no expense reimbursement- which does fare well when the company can't or won't procure product, or right mix. If we don't have it to sell, we can't make $. Again, looking at solutions too long, not being proactive costs market share and lost sales. But ongoing cuts and restructuring of compensation to their bottom line. High turnover in last market.
