      Pros

      Teams are fantastic and truly live into the defined belief of "Bring your ____ self to work." I get to truly live a culture where I feel I don't need to conform to a set of beliefs in order to get ahead. If you're the type of person who asks questions of leadership, it is honestly rewarded instead of beaten down. Product is great and clients with content storage needs are satisfied. Documentation is abounding. Work/Life Balance is spectacular. I can generally switch off when I'm OOO and feel I am well-covered.

      Cons

      Pay is probably slightly below market. Promotions are likely every two years, and there isn't a real promotion plan because spots only open up when managers leave as company is not growing exponentially. Product itself is great, but in this stiff market is tough to differentiate. Pretty obvious there is a ceiling on how much this company can grow and I would not be surprised if there was either an acquisition or an activist investor in the next year. Management can at times (usually EOQ) make inane asks. Up to your discretion if you follow them as it's usually apparent that all management is not aligned on the process.

      Pros

      Box did an unbelievable job throughout the interview process with the preparation and transparency. Additionally, the final presentation was relative and it did not feel like a waste of time. I interviewed at multiple companies over the past few months and when I made it to the presentation stage, I felt like many of them were not relative to an AE's role. The onboarding has been great as well. They do an outstanding job of mixing online work with live classes to help your ramp.

      Ok for juniors, stay away if you want to grow

      Pros

      It’s a premium contract company - you get the employment benefits, rsu and the office. You can do nothing and get paid.

      Cons

      During the existence of the Warsaw office nothing has changed in terms of ownership and cooperation with the US. Anything is driven there, we are just executing someone’s plan. There’s no real way to grow outside of your role because of that. Any process is US centric, not to mention rigid and overblown processes for architecture and software development. Also nothing has changed in developer experience - tooling is non existent, constantly migrated platforms are not developed. Product management is tragic, PMs would be interns somewhere else.

      Pros

      Really intelligent employees who want to do well and contribute to company and team goals. They do a tremendous job hiring. C-level is transparent and fair.

      Talented and collaborative teammates. Supportive immediate managers and approachable leadership.

      Cons

      Outdated tech stack slows down development and innovation. Overly complex and bureaucratic processes that hinder productivity. Limited focus on modern best practices (CI/CD, cloud-native, automated testing). Slow decision-making and resistance to adopting new tools. Technical debt makes projects harder to maintain.
