      Pros

      - One of the most diverse places to work. The overall company culture is great - people are friendly and supportive. Employee recognition is very well managed, which helps keep you motivated and engaged in your work.

      Cons

One con is the learning curve associated with the business model. With multiple brands and systems in place, It takes time to fully understand how everything works. Could be addressed with training and inclusivity.

      Pros

      Work life balance, I suppose

      Cons

Since James Allen took over, quality has taken a nosedive and the changes are killing the company. No longer carry any actual product or do any service work like we used to, we're a glorified TikTok shop running on the goodwill of our existing base. Turnaround times are ridiculous, wages are stagnant or getting cut, no growth opportunities. Benefits were cut and changed to be awful. This used to be a good job, but now dont bother

      Pros

One of the things that stands out most is our culture of collaboration and respect. Every voice matters, and ideas are treated with genuine curiosity. It’s a place where people feel safe to speak up, ask questions, and try new approaches without fear of judgment. We’re encouraged to grow not just in our roles but as people. Whether it’s professional development, peer support, or the everyday interactions that build trust, there’s a clear commitment to creating an environment where everyone can thrive.

      Cons

Opportunities for learning, mentorship, or advancement may feel uneven across teams or roles, which can impact motivation and long‑term career planning.

      Pros

      There are simply no pros.

      Cons

Blue Nile is not a luxury store, no matter how they advertise. I have been denied jobs from actual luxury brands like Cartier and Tiffany because they don’t take it seriously. I interviewed at one place and they assumed BN only carried lab grown diamonds. My career has been stunted because of Blue Nile. The “growth” I was promised? Never happened. I have been stuck in the same position for years oh and my total increase since I started? A dollar and some change. Don’t expect commission like a real luxury store. Don’t expect security guards like a real luxury store. Don’t expect any of the components of a real luxury store at Blue Nile. This dog and pony show they have put on is faltering. They hire unqualified managers who don’t work weekends and ignore HR complaints. I have come forward so many times about the misconduct that occurs at Blue Nile. There’s so much more to say but corporate deletes Glassdoor reviews as well to maintain their facade.
