What is the salary like at Atlassian?

Good benefits and pay, TEAM Anywhere (remote work policy) is great

It's not the same place it was pre-pandemic. the c-suite changed over almost entirely and the culture changed drastically. I think for the worse.

The benefits are great, I like remote work, and the pay is decent

Everything is broken and on fire almost all the time, everything I was sold about how great the culture is has turned out to be untrue, massive continual changes keep rolling out without warning, and there's a general culture of fear around performance

Good team, good pay, nice benefits, great work/life balance, plenty of freedom with project work outside of standard tasks

Career growth is cumbersome but possible. Only reason it's not 5 starts

Underwhelming work, open values changed with new management, promotion opportunities limited. Expectations became unrealistic in an effort to push employees out.

High pressure environment, stack ranking makes it impossible to make meaningful work connections as everyone is competing, you need to track your work daily and essentially justify why you should remain employed every 6 months during their performance review cycle. Even doing everything right, they'll just make you redundant regardless. Stock in the toilet and bizarre business decisions. Why did we just lay off 1600 people and yet we bought a web browser no one uses and paid for an F1 sponsorship.

Stack ranking has made its way here from Microsoft and Meta. Research has shown that this was detrimental to the culture at Microsoft; that's the reason Satya changed it when he started. But hey, if Atlassian has to faulter on its way to become the next Microsoft, then it really doesn't matter, does it?
