Great place but can work on some factors to be amazing

      Pros

Great benefits, especially insurance, wonderful PTO, a few company parties, wfh structure is nice, yearly small salary increase, early bonus

      Cons

lots of work during QE, & ME, can get high stress, different experience positive or negative based off manager and client. Hard to move up after Senior Associate, stingy with pay for salary there is pretty much no increase, low retention

      Depends on your Team

      Pros

Great benefits and attention to employees. Team buildings, events, good health insurance, and additional benefits. Reasonable salary + annual bonus. Pretty good work-life balance, opportunity to work from home or from abroad.

      Cons

The atmosphere in some teams really depend on managers, so if you are lucky to get a good and supporting manager then you'll be happy to work here. However, if you are unhappy with the way your manager treats you/your teammates, the management will not help you much.

      Cons

Pay is on the lower end

      Pros

European company purchased the company and subsequently gave everyone 4 weeks of vacation!

      Cons

Investor Services had a bunch of issues when I worked there. They removed a bunch of the "bad" apples but it goes up towards senior leadership. If you're good they will give you more work. Do not accept the work without a pay raise. They will have forgotten about your hard work throughout the year when annual reviews rear their ugly head.

Job Insecurity and Limited Benefits Amidst Expansion and Layoffs

      Anonymous employee
      Current employee

      CEO approval
      Business outlook

      Pros

Good learning environment for those starting in the industry. Supportive team members Engaging office environment and ergonomic conditions in the office EMEA managers are like open-source about the knowledge

      Cons

Significant job insecurity due to the company's recent expansion into India and layoffs in the China office. This has created uncertainty, particularly for employees in Europe, who are directly affected by these dynamic changes. Benefits are very limited. For instance, remote work is restricted to only 10 days per year, which is quite low compared to industry standards. Work-life balance could be better, especially given the lack of flexibility around remote work. Morale is low due to the current restructuring and lack of transparency from management regarding plans. Upper management doesn't prefer to communicate or arrange meetings for plans. Mean and aggressive senior managers from US side Lack of communication between team operations

Some nice people… but a sweatshop.

      Business outlook

      Pros

      - My manager was a great teacher and definitely is the reason I am still willing to put in effort. - 6% match on 401k. - Generally really nice crowd.

      Cons

      - Raises across the department were less than inflation at 2.5-3%, and bonuses were substantially less than HR implied upon hire. (FYI - Glassdoor salary estimates for roles here are >50% above actual) - If you are talented, they will give you more work but not a promotion. Incompetence is rewarded in the form of less to do. - High turnover.
