Pros
- Good coworkers to laugh with about the company. - Decent health insurance. - Some people would say the free wardrobe is a pro so if you're into getting told what to wear then count that.
Cons
Hmm where to begin. I'll say this company has lots of work to do to live up to their "guiding principles" they base themselves around. As a lead or "manager" (as they like to say) you won't even make $20 and you'll probably be harassed on the daily to sell shoes. - Any kind of "sustainability practices" they say they have is a lie. There is no report shared of where any of their factories are, who is making these top $$$ athleisure items, and how releasing a new color drop every 2-3 weeks is sustainable. - Instead of being compensated 4x a year, you get allotted a certain dollar amount of Shein quality clothing (mandatory all black) that you MUST wear to work and hype up to customers. - Bonus is capped at a very low amount. - Customer support is truly as terrible as they say - Lastly their lack of action against the numerous thefts that happen in their stores weekly or probably daily for some locations, makes their employees feel unsafe and puts them in an uncomfortable position (especially from a management level).
