      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business outlook

      Pros

Airbus offers a very relaxed work environment, there’s no unnecessary pressure or micromanagement. Schedules are flexible, people are kind, and the overall atmosphere is quite human and respectful of work-life balance.

      Cons

Processes are extremely slow and heavily dependent on core countries, which limits autonomy in other locations. Access to tools and systems is often restricted, making simple tasks complicated. There’s almost no opportunity for technical or personal growth, and career progression is very limited.

One of the best place to work in aerospace industry

      Engineer
      Current employee

      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business outlook

      Pros

Work life balance (depends on your project) Salary is a little less compared to outside market, but one of the best in aerospace industry

      Cons

Should become favourites of upper management to have good career growth and promotions. Internal politics. Used to have good work culture but it has been degrading over the years.

      Business outlook

      Pros

Good work life balance and opportunities

      Cons

Sometimes slow management and lot of processes

Generally great company spirit and diversity

      Business analyst
      Current employee
      Lisbon, Lisbon District
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business outlook

      Pros

It seems to vary from team to team. Great diversity of nationalities and people, autonomy on the execution and planning of activities, good balance of pace in the day-to-day (given that you deliver on time). Most people work with good functional management from FR and DE. Stellar forecast for the future, given that the company has 10 years of firm sales and GBS' importance grows more and more within the group.

      Cons

Very fast-growing environment, foggy visibility on career progression (a lot of reliance in promising internal mobility to other countries), lower salaries than UK/FR/DE for the same positions (although there were good updates on salaries during 2023).

For freshers and people seeking comfort zone

      Planning engineer
      Former employee
      Bengaluru
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business outlook

      Pros

The organization goes beyond just offering a salary it provides meaningful benefits and demonstrates genuine care for employee well-being.

      Cons

      1. The organization offers significant growth opportunities, especially due to its global footprint. However, advancement can often depend more on personal networks than merit. In recent years, there's been a noticeable trend of leadership roles being filled by individuals from defunct airlines, who often bring in their former colleagues creating informal circles of influence that shape key decisions. 2. There is considerable emphasis on strategic language and presentation, but often this does not translate into tangible execution or measurable impact.
