Pros
Very few, if any. The experience may be eye-opening for those new to retail, but that’s about it.
Cons
Toxic company culture: There's a serious lack of professionalism and empathy. Teammate concerns are routinely ignored. No structure: Internal processes are chaotic and poorly defined, making daily operations frustrating and inefficient. Unqualified staff: Many team members lack basic training or understanding of their roles, which leads to mistakes and miscommunication. No autonomy: Store managers have no real decision-making power. Everything is top-down, and suggestions are often dismissed without consideration. Unsafe work conditions: Teammate safety is not a priority. There’s no clear safety protocol, and leaders are completely untransparent during critical situations. Zero career growth: There are no learning opportunities, promotions are rare (and not merit-based), and leadership doesn’t invest in employee development.
