Term Technician (Dental Surgery Assistant)

(a)

To assist in the installation and maintenance of laboratory equipment and in the preparation of training sessions, including the sterilisation of dental equipment;

(b)

To assist in the procurement and inventory control of relevant stores including consumables for the promotion of dental hygiene and preventive dental service; and

(c)

To assist in the implementation of safety measures in oral care workshops / laboratories.

(a)

A recognised diploma or higher certificate in Dental Surgery Assisting or equivalent;

(b)

At least 2 years’ relevant industry experience;

(c)

Proficiency in both English and Chinese; and

(d)

Good work initiative, interpersonal skills and be a good team player.

Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic / professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic / professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply.

(2)

Applicants who hold “Certificate of Proficiency in Dental Surgery Assisting” issued by the Hong Kong Prince Philip Dental Hospital, or equivalent, may also apply.

(3)

The appointee(s) may be required to perform duties outside normal office hours and / or outside campus.
