Sales Manager – International Business / Export

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing overseas distributors, wholesalers and business partners while actively exploring new market opportunities
  • Drive business growth through international market expansion and strategic business development initiatives
  • Identify and acquire new overseas customers, distributors and channel partners to expand market presence
  • Develop and execute business development plans for new territories and foreign markets
  • Manage key customer accounts and build long-term partnerships to maximize sales opportunities
  • Conduct market research and analyze industry trends, competitive activities and customer needs across different regions
  • Prepare and deliver professional presentations, business proposals and marketing materials to potential clients and partners
  • Monitor sales pipeline and business opportunities, ensuring timely follow-up and conversion into successful partnerships
  • Coordinate closely with internal departments to ensure smooth execution of customer requirements and projects
  • Attend local and overseas trade fairs, exhibitions and business meetings when required
  • Prepare regular sales forecasts, market updates and management reports
  • Handle ad hoc projects and assignments as required

Requirements:

  • Degree or diploma holder with relevant experience preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in wholesale, export sales, international business development or key account management
  • Experience in FMCG, food & beverage, gifting, retail or consumer products industry is highly preferred
  • Proven experience in developing overseas markets and acquiring new business opportunities
  • Knowledge of export operations, distributor management and international trade practices is an advantage
  • Strong commercial mindset with excellent business development and negotiation skills
  • Self-motivated, proactive and results-oriented with the ability to work independently
  • Willing to travel overseas for business development activities and trade exhibitions when required
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese; additional languages are an advantage
  • Proficient in MS Office and Chinese word processing
  • Immediate availability is an advantage
