Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Job Description:

Assists in designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud environments. They support senior engineers in managing cloud resources, security, and automation while learning best practices in cloud infrastructure management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in setting up and managing cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Support cloud deployment and configuration tasks.
• Monitor cloud systems and troubleshoot basic issues.
• Help implement security and compliance measures.
• Learn and use Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Assist in automating cloud infrastructure processes.
• Document cloud configurations and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or relevant certifications).
• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Familiarity with networking, security, and system administration.
• Understanding of scripting languages (Python, Bash, or PowerShell) is a plus.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new cloud technologies.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Relevant certifications (AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, Google Associate Cloud Engineer) are a plus but not required.
