      Pros

      Reasonable compensation; fully remote yet dedicated staff across departments; my department has been incredibly supportive and is investing in team building and developing one's sense of belonging (can't say the same for all departments); team members at all levels are regularly asked for input and recommendations are often implemented

      Cons

      Lack of transparency on leadership's decision making, often feels like there's a moving target. As a new, rapidly growing nonprofit there isn't much structure when it comes to things like HR and professional development (growth outpaced internal processes). Your "happiness" at the org depends on the relationship you have with your manager and their ability to build out an effective team, I've seen others from different departments struggle during their time here saying they weren't set up for success.

      investing in the right things and the right people; truly making an impact on the issue of addiction; great working environment for people who need little management and are independent. Leadership is responsive to feedback and direct communication.

      remote environment means minimal communication; needs more diverse staff and board members
