A Truly Collaborative Culture Where People Actually Care

Pros

The culture is the standout — supportive, inclusive, and built on real collaboration. Truly collaborative culture — people actively support each other and want to see one another succeed. Strong sense of community and belonging; it feels like a team, not just a workplace. Leadership leads with empathy and trust. Open communication across teams; ideas are welcomed regardless of title or tenure. High level of respect for work-life balance given the pace of the industry (time off/mental health days). Work is creative, meaningful, and connected to a clear vision. People take pride in the company and the work being done. You’re surrounded by genuinely smart, thoughtful people who push the work forward in ALL departments. Cross-team collaboration is encouraged and celebrated. A culture that values kindness, accountability, and growth. Employees are empowered to bring their full selves to work. Wins are recognized, shared, and celebrated together. Fast-growing environment with real opportunities to learn and evolve. You can tell people actually like each other here — it makes the work better and the days easier.

Cons

It’s a fast-growing company, so processes aren’t always fully built out yet, but that also creates opportunities to make a real impact for those who want to be part of shaping change.

Pros

From the moment I interviewed, it was clear that the people here genuinely care, not only about the creator marketing industry and the impact of the work, but about each other and the culture they’re building together. One year into my role, I can confidently say the behind-the-scenes reality has matched (and even exceeded) what I experienced during my interview loop. Working in HR and Talent, it’s a huge green flag to me when I see employees at all levels celebrated for their ideas and contributions, and to watch an open-door, highly engaged leadership style truly trickle down through each department. There’s a real appetite for improvement and innovation here, and having the support to roll out thoughtful changes that strengthen systems, processes, and operations has been one of the most fulfilling parts of my career so far.

Cons

As a primarily hybrid workforce with multiple offices across time zones, employees need to be intentional and proactive about communicating cross-functionally to experience the full culture that OI has to offer.
