The support from the management here is fantastic. Every morning there are reviews of previous successes and an opportunity to learn. No matter where you work, a "Student" mentality is required to continue your success. If you come in thinking you "know it all" you won't succeed in any sales position. This is an environment that changes quickly, so they help keep you ahead of the curve. I was offered both a salary based position with a lower commission and a straight commission rate that offered considerable better income potential. I chose the straight commission and I'm glad that i did because i am earning an income that matches my skills. They offer great incentives to recognize your work effort. Your earnings reflect your effort. I've seen people come in and make 5 minutes worth of calls during an expect to earn a full time wage. The atmosphere is outstanding. Everyone here supports everyone in the office.

Cons

If you've never worked in Advertising, the initial learning curve takes some effort.

MARC is a great place to work, the owners do their best to make things fun for the sales team while also assuring them support from a team of expert sales staff made up of in house and freelance knowledge. The combined fun atmosphere and professional quality of service made working with MARC a pleasure. Health and leisure benefits are awesome!

Cons

Making cold calls is difficult and theres no difference here, a resilient spirit is needed to work a sales job like this. Persistence is key here.

I love my job here. Everyone is so friendly and coming to work does not feel like a job. The position itself is very cool. I don't have a marketing background, but they provided me with all of the training I needed. Everyone works as a team and encourages each other. Good music plays all day, everyone is cheery - not like the old office I worked at! Im so happy here!

Cons

Im happy, nothing to really put here.
