Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We truly value hearing about your experience, and I am glad to know that you appreciated the autonomy and flexibility we provide to help our team members manage their own work and schedules. I also appreciate your insights regarding our working model. At Foundry, we offer a blend of hybrid and remote roles tailored to specific positions and locations. We believe this balance allows us to attract exceptional talent while fostering meaningful in-person collaboration where it is most impactful. While we recognize that this approach may not be the perfect fit for everyone, it is a model we believe in for our collective success. We wish you the very best in your next chapter and future career endeavors. Thanks again, Jody

Pros

Foundry works on some amazing tech, in a very cool industry. I've been privileged to build teams of brilliant people who developed tools that made a real impact. HR genuinely supported teams and people, sometimes in unique and life-changing ways that were not expected. Foundry places a strong focus on professional growth. Over the many years I had a string of exceptional managers who I could trust and learned a lot from. On the Leadership side, one thing I loved: Executive Leadership fostered a culture of transparency, which made team management and leading change far easier.

Cons

Internal investment for new or existing projects can be slow. The org structure sometimes makes it hard to progress. The company is centred on their flagship product "Nuke", which can make it difficult if you're working on something else. Too many meetings.

Thank you for the five star review. It's great to read your highlights from the 10 years you spent on the team, especially that you felt supported both personally and professionally by our People team and your managers. I'm also glad to know our culture of transparency positively impacted your ability to lead your teams. Thank you also for highlighting some areas for improvement. We continue to take steps to refine our ways of working such that decisions can be made more quickly, our team members feel empowered to progress and that everyone's work is meaningful, irrespective of which product team they're on. If you have any other feedback you'd like to share about your experience with us, please don't hesitate to get in touch. Thanks again, Jody.
