      Above average pay, great benefits that get better in time, industry leading company, opportunities for growth, award and appreciation events, goal and employee review processes are prioritized, and hybrid schedule.

      Cons

      Not all associates are on hybrid schedule.

      Pros

      The company does a great job with change management communication through the E way team, providing spaces for escalation, and I do feel that there is good career mobility at Essex. They seem to be much more open to inter department transfers and promotions, than many in the industry that silo employees into specialty roles. The direction the new group of dept heads are pushing the company seems to make a lot of logical sense, and seems to be aligning the departments' trajectory with each other more cohesively than what has been the last few years.

      Cons

      Lots of fire drills and unpredictability make it hard sometimes to establish rhythm in a cyclical industry. Old leadership stay in your lane culture still lags around with certain folks, but is improving.

      - Very clean hub - Coworkers are very helpful and want to see you succeed - 20% housing discount - Commission structure seems competitive and obtainable - Lots of ways to grow within the company especially if you are okay with moving to a different hub

      Cons

      - Hourly could be a little bit better especially in the Bay Area
