Pros

- The salary is good and always given on time which can be tricking with a lot of schools in China. - A feeling of belonging. The Chinese staff and other foreign teachers helped me a lot when I arrived. And I needed it. Starting a new life in China can be challenging. - Teach to a high age range of students. I loved that.

Cons

- Teach to a high range of students. Not everyone love to (or good at) "teach" 2 and 3 years old toddlers. But someone accepting to work for i2 needs to understand that they will teach to that age too. That's the market. - Too much "Sale" oriented. I have been working there for a long time, and it is always the same problem coming back again and again: signing a new customers will always take the priority, often on the quality of the other classes that you have to teach that day. - Too many classes to teach when the teacher reach the maximum of Teaching Hours per week.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on working at i2 Education. We’re glad you enjoyed the benefits of working for a reputable growing company. We always ensure that salaries are paid on time and in full, even during this COVID-19 period. We are also believe in making teachers feel like family when they join their campus and I’m happy you experienced that sense of belonging. I have passed on your concerns to our academic management department, who take this feedback very seriously. Since last year we have been implementing many initiatives to ensure a stronger focus on “Education” in the classroom and our growing Research and Development team work have been working hard to ensure academics take top priority . Again, thank you for bringing these concerns to our attentions.

Pros

The hours are short, working in the evenings, giving enough time for hobbies in the morning, no real interaction with parents is required. If you are organized, and prepare yourself, it’s very easy to carry on, the pay is good.

Cons

Working on the weekends almost all day, no paid holidays, or holidays on that matter. Not enough paid leave to take long breaks. The classes are focused on students memorizing their books, yet it isn’t a set curriculum, and not allowed to change it.
