Pros

Kinda fun, friendly coworkers, making the drinks themselves is easy

Cons

They only schedule one person closing by themself every night. It’s completely ridiculous, customers will literally harass you and tell you to hurry up when there’s a whole line of drinks and you are the only one there. Not only does it get busy but there are SO many cleaning tasks to do, it is far too much work for one person to do and get paid minimum wage for it! It’s also incredibly safe, especially for the young women working here in this mall that hardly has any security. Quite literally anyone can walk behind the counter and attack you. Owner always wants to “save labour hours” Meanwhile he’s is buying Tesla cyber trucks with all his money, and giving CRAZY big bonuses to his management. Btw, the owner visits every store and will yell at you for absolutely anything and everything that you do, just for fun, and he’s a real creep towards young Asian women. And yeah it’s like someone else commented here, the only way you can get anywhere is if you’re Chinese, if you speak mandarin. Otherwise you’ll pretty much just be a lowly minimum wage making barista forever.

Pros

Free drinks. Team members were cool. Other than that- no.

Cons

Management did not know how to handle customer situations and immediately placed the fault on team members without supporting them during the interaction. People from Canada were prioritized in terms of availability accommodations and store support with additional team members vs. team members from the United States not recieving support for availabilty accommodations for school or parenting. Work culture was disgusting- from Ken screaming at team members that weren’t performing to overworking exceling team members to travel to god-knows-where without gas and mileage compensation- which all could have been solved by training live in stores instead of watching videos over whatsapp.
