Pros

Pay is pretty good The people are generally very nice, brand dependent Company days are good fun Bonus scheme is better than average

Cons

Massive lack of flexibility No working from home (even though managers and SM do wfh sometimes and the US and European offices do) No work life balance Regimented office environment Lack of trust with employees Toxic office culture Unapproachable managers Too much of a focus on money and results, not enough on the employees Lack of disabled access (lift has been broken for over a year, person on crutches had to hobble up two flights of stairs) Employees not listened to (employee survey released and seemed to dodge the more pressing issues in the results) Creativity is discouraged (all ideas for each brand have to go through the MD which are usually quashed for something “we have always done and works”) Too much pressure on Managers causing a ripple effect on staff People just want to leave the office as fast as they can at the end of the day No sick pay Had to take holiday when I was sick, otherwise I wouldn’t get Not enough holiday Favouritism between brands, some brands are not prioritised due to the lack of turnover leaving employees in a tug of war between two brands The list goes on, honestly one the worst working environments I have experienced.

Pros

The pace is fast, but the teams are competent enough to keep up with it. You're moving quickly alongside smart people, not scrambling to keep things together. Leadership is excellent and clearly sets the tone for how the broader organization operates. The culture stands out. People are kind and engaged in a way that feels real, not performative. The brands in the portfolio are strong, which makes the work easy to get behind. Comp is competitive and the operational infrastructure is already there. For anyone who wants to move fast and actually get things done, it's a great environment.

Cons

As with any growing company, some systems are still being built out and aren't fully functional yet. There are many on the team who are relatively new, and the pace is fast, so there's an element of building the plane while flying it. However, this is an opportunity to have ownership and accountability for growth.
