Pros
Good support availible when needed, lecturers can be forgiving some of the time.
Some lecturers know their stuff inside out and are acctually interested in what they are teaching which makes it easier to learn.
Is way better integrated for future career progression after graduating than other universities I have seen or know people at.
Cons
Some lecturers are all over the place and spend more time in class talking about nothing and slagging students other than teaching.
Their is a serious lack of development in terms of the online studying services, essientially if you miss a class forget about being able to catch up with the content, espicially if its one of the older old school style lecturers who dismiss you if you werent at the class writing at 100mph and are now looking to catch up.
The campus's are terrible, some of the oldest and least modern in the country one might say, and their very ugly but they are functional most of the time.
Could also do with a better system for finding out who in regards to both students (Union and year heads) and lecturers and school heads a student shold be able to contact regarding their coarse, instead you will have too spend weeks being redirected to the correct person whom you are to speak too instead of being clearly laid out for everyone.
