False Organisation! Big No!

Pros

Can never think of any pro from this organisation, because they are only for themselves and not their employees. Even slaves are treated well but not Digite employees.

Cons

Huh where to start from:( Alot is said in the bad reviews and that's completely true. Each and every point is true. All the positive reviews added for this organisation are added by the management itself. Please dont even read a review if the tagline is positive, because its of no use. Never ever think of joining this organisation no matter remaining jobless for sometime is the only option. There are some live examples in the organisation who have come from other companies, they all have left within 6 months. Only few freshers are sustained here because either they dont have any other options or they are unaware of what the organisations should be doing for the employees, poor souls just somehow survive here somehow. And what to say about the HR here, HR will never ever speak for an employees favour, never. HR team here is dumb. HR team is full of employees without any qualification in respective domain because HRs are for employees as per my knowledge. If want to get insulted for no reason, please visit Digite HR asap.

Poor company to work in

Pros

1) Good focus on keeping transparency, flexibility and approachability within the organization, since there is a relatively flat hierarchy and open-door policy. 2) Company growth is high. 3) Freshers get to learn a lot since responsibilities are given to them early on. 4) Good onsite opportunities (within India). 5) Systematic in-depth exposure to Scrum and Kanban methodologies and conferences are often held so as to get more feedback and learning. 6) Appreciation is duly provided when an individual delivers something great and you easily get visibility and credit within the organization. 7) Frequent team outings. 8) Good increment.

Cons

1) Pathetic work culture. Very high office drama filled with overfriendliness, nosiness, gossiping, arrogance and workplace bullying. People are much more challenging to deal with than the work itself. 2) Top management does not believe in the concept of work-life balance. 3) Some of the top management leaders give overcommitments to the CEO and keep pushing the lower management to complete those commitments at all costs; thereby resulting in burnout and high demotivation within employees. They find it quite impossible to stand against them. 4) Such a highly delivery-focused attitude is going to impact the code quality, readability and its standards; which will result in memory and performance issues later and slowly kill the passion and competency within the programmer. They may even find ways to bypass some quality procedures to complete the deadlines. 5) No flexi-timings provided for Mumbai office even if metro construction work is going on. Instead, employees are told to come early. 6) Not at all an employee-friendly organization and all perks are slowly getting removed. Company is focused more on profits and cost cutting compared to employee happiness. 7) Employees working for some of the clients are literally treated like slaves (too much workload, no work-life balance and constant pestering). 8) High micromanagement is involved alongwith increasing restrictions on employees. 9) The CEO is very ambitious, innovative and competitive but has an old-school management style, which is very ineffective for the employees in the long run. 10) Attrition is happening at a faster pace currently. 11) Java EE framework and Sahi automation are still being used which is currently obsolete as compared to the market standards; thereby affecting the career of the developers in the long run (since they are made to wear the functional automation hat too). 12) Favoritism is practised in some teams; which kills the spirit of the rest productive employees and makes them feel used. 13) Development work is there in the data science team but you have to slog day and night there very often. Else, you will end up doing mostly maintenance work.
