Pros

Work with good people, good pay, welding and fabricating is good work.

Cons

Union job means tenure keeps you employed, not necessarily skill set.

Too many middle managers, but good people.

Pros

Great people to work with. Friendly. The long timers are willing to teach the newcomers what they know.

Cons

Too many middle managers micromanaging for the sake of micromanaging in order to justify their positions.

Pros

The people from middle management and down are great, easy to work with and very helpful to newcomers. Interesting work with something new to do every day. Company culture of caring for the community in which it resides. Machinist union shop.

Cons

Upper management has been making a lot of questionable decisions regarding moving to a new facility and moving production lines out of the country. Repeating same mistakes and repeated layoffs when they fail.
