it is europe's largest university clinic and department of radiology where you'll find lots of interesting and rare cases, combined with high-end technology

Cons

just like in any other university clinic you'll face a huge work load, many night shifts and mostly poor supervision during residency

Broad exposure and involvement all over Berlin, large hospital network, good access to patients, generally good colleagues.

Cons

Terrible research managers, little room for growth, HR refused to address serious personnel issues, poor quality research practices, old/outdated facilities, not very accommodating to International employees.

Charite has great reputation. It's name has resonance for every researcher's resumee. Provides an environment where basic research meets clinical application. Very good scientific resources.

Cons

Slow bureaucracy. As everywhere doctorate candidates contribute to research without appropriate compensation. Certified as 'family-friendly', but it's not.
