Vantage Data Centers is pleased to announce the completion of a $1.6 billion investment in its Asia-Pacific platform led by affiliates of GIC and ADIA and the finalization of the acquisition of Yondr Group’s 300MW-plus hyperscale campus in Johor, Malaysia. “This acquisition marks an important step in our growth strategy for APAC,” said Jeremy Deutsch, president of Vantage Data Centers, APAC. “We’re bringing one of Southeast Asia’s largest and most advanced hyperscale campuses into our platform, enhancing our ability to deliver sustainable infrastructure for AI and cloud customers across the region.” This milestone expands Vantage’s regional platform to 1GW of operational and planned capacity across Australia, Malaysia, Japan, Taiwan and Hong Kong. The campus will include three two-story facilities across 82 acres and is designed to achieve LEED Silver certification as part of our sustainable-by-design approach. Last week, we announced the expansion of Vantage’s Italian footprint with a second campus in Milan, Italy. Located in Castelletto, Settimo Milanese, the MXP2 campus will deliver 32MW of IT capacity across two state-of-the-art data centers, strengthening our position as a leading provider of scalable, sustainable digital infrastructure in Europe. Located less than 10 miles (about 15 kilometers) from central Milan, the campus has been recognized by the Italian government as a key strategic investment under the Article 13 Decree Law.
