Description Cable television is a funny business for this company. Part of Time Warner's Turner Broadcasting unit, Superstation operates leading cable network TBS which reaches more than 100 million US homes with a schedule of television programming that is heavy on comedies. It airs mostly syndicated sitcoms, including The Office, Seinfeld, and Sex and the City, but also has some original programming, such as My Boys and Tyler Perry's House of Payne. In addition, TBS has rights to a slate of regular season and playoff Major League Baseball games. The network was launched in 1976 by media mogul Ted Turner. It made big waves in late 2010 when it launched Conan, a new show starring former Tonight Show host Conan O'Brien.
