MARUWA makes ceramics, but you won't see them on display. The company manufactures circuit and machinery ceramics, as well as radio frequency products and electronic components. Its circuit ceramics are used in resistors for such consumer devices as PCs, cameras, and mobile phones. The machinery ceramics division makes quartz glass products, ferrite, and various ceramics used in such goods as disk drives and water faucets. Nearly all of the sales are in Asia; about half of MARUWA's sales come from Japan where it maintains six manufacturing plants and several sales offices.
