CAMC Health Snapshot
CAMC Health System is a catalyst for care in Charleston. The health network includes flagship facility Charleston Area Medical Center (CAMC), which is the largest hospital in West Virginia and consists of three hospital campuses with some 840 beds total. The system includes the CAMC Health Education and Research Institute which coordinates education programs for medical students from West Virginia University. In addition, the health system also operates smaller rural hospital CAMC Teays Valley and several urgent care and family practice clinics. CAMC Health System operates an online medical information system designed to communicate with health professionals statewide.
