KOSÉ Corporation wants to help consumers put on a pretty face. The Tokyo-based company manufactures prestige and mass-market cosmetics and sells them through department, specialty cosmetic, general merchandise, and variety stores. The company's products are sold under the KOSÉ, Infinity, and Prédia brand names, among others. By way of licensing agreements, it makes Jill Stuart Cosmetics among other brands. In 2006 KOSÉ signed an agreement with Coty Inc. to import and sell Rimmel branded cosmetics in Japan, where the majority of the firm's operations exist. KOSÉ was originally founded in 1948.
