Pros
- As it is a startup there is much more opportunity to have an impact as a more junior engineer than at a more established company. Within a few months of working there I was given responsibility for a few medium sized projects, and was involved in hiring new engineers
- The hours are pretty flexible, while most people work roughly 9-5 there is no expectation to do so, and everyone is free to work from home or the office as they wish
- The office is pretty nice too
- All the people are lovely and great to work with, and they are all very competent at what they do
Cons
- The sales/onboarding cycle can be pretty long as our clients are large heavy industrial companies, this can lead to a bit of tedious back and forth with clients and iteration on parts of the product
