Junior System Engineer

Job responsibilities

Design and implement cost-effective hardware and software systems architectures or cloud architectures that satisfies project requirements;
Identify and analyse system integration problems, formulate and implement corrective and preventive plans;
Lead and coordinate with system administrators and all project team members in implementation, configuration, testing, system rollout and maintenance;
On-call for support cases;
Willing to work on additional tasks and responsibilities that will contribute towards team, department, and company goals;
System engineer may work for clients in different time zones and will work accordingly in the client’s time zone when assigned

Job requirements

Minimum 1 year of experience as system engineer. Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply as a trainee;
Should expect to provide 24×7 on-call for emergency production incidents and provide on-site support for fire-fighting Worked in a global role in a multi-national company is an advantage;
Experience in delivering support to end-users via remote connection applications over the Internet;
Experience in Windows Server, RedHat Enterprise Linux and Cloud Platforms;
Good co-ordination – Experience designing infrastructure solutions;
Understanding of SaaS, AWS, AzureProduction Support, ITIL workflow;
Knowledge of firewall settings and infrastructure security;
Knowledge of MS SQL, MySQL, Oracle, or another database;
Knowledge of DevOps, Docker, K8s, Ansible is a plus;
