• Contribute to the development, implementation and support of database related standards, framework and common services
• Perform database administration, performance tuning/monitoring, troubleshooting and backup & recovery administration
• Provide database support to Development/Quality Assurance/Operation teams
• Assist development teams in adopting database standards and framework
• Evaluate database technology selections and develop enterprise-wide database management best practices and methodology
• Automate database operations for enhancing Operational Efficiency
• Plan and implement Technology Refreshment program to ensure the healthiness of database systems

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science / Engineering or related discipline
• 6+ years of solid experience in database administration/ engineering, ideally working in Technical Support or Infrastructure Team
• Good SQL programming or administration skill in SQL Server, Oracle or others
• Knowledge of LINUX and relational modelling skill is preferable
• Working knowledge of Windows, SAN, Enterprise monitoring/scheduling tools, Clusters, Virtualization and middleware
• Working knowledge of various programming languages especially shell scripting, Java, C, C++, XML, XLST, XSD
• Ability to troubleshoot system problems, explain technical issues to supervisor, vendors and internal teams.
