Join our Equity Derivatives and Trading Risk Technology team, which builds and supports in-house applications used by business users across front office, middle office, risk management and finance. These platforms support risk exposure management, profit and loss tracking, and the production of margining and risk reporting, forming a critical part of trading and risk oversight.

What role will you play?
You will design, build and support Java-based applications while applying a specification-driven approach supported by AI-assisted engineering. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will translate business requirements into well-defined technical solutions, using AI tools to explore design options, strengthen code quality and improve delivery efficiency. You will also contribute to code reviews and provide operational support within a DevOps environment to ensure stable, reliable systems.
What you offer
Hands-on experience with Core Java (version 8 or above) and Spring Boot
Active use of AI tools to explore design patterns, improve development outcomes, and support unit testing and documentation
Ability to follow a specification-driven approach, defining and aligning development with clear requirements and application interfaces before coding
Experience with software development lifecycle tools such as JIRA, Maven, ArgoCD, Artifactory and GitHub
Familiarity with database technologies such as PostgreSQL or MongoDB, and experience working in a Unix or Linux environment
