Summary

As a 3D Product Designer, you will drive the creative development of products from initial concept to manufacturing-ready designs. You will utilize 3D modeling and rendering tools, creating high-fidelity visual assets, and ensure design intent is maintained. You will also support on Computer Generated Images (CGI) projects and advancing Digital Development at Lidl.

What you'll do

The holder of the position is mainly responsible for the following areas in coordination with his / her superior:

• Creative Concepting: Research and translate ideas into rapid visual prototypes.
• 3D Modeling & Development: Create CAD models for visualization and to develop physical prototypes.
• Visualization: Produce high-quality renders and CGI for internal presentations and consumer facing use cases.
• Asset Management: Manage 3D asset libraries and innovate solutions to drive efficiency and new methods of working.

What you'll need

• Higher Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design or related field
• 1-3 years experience in Industrial Design or Product Design.
• Proficient in both spoken and written English
• Passion for design thinking, innovation and solutions to every-day problems.
• Strong sketching, concept development and prototyping skills.
• Proficient knowledge in 3D Software (SolidWorks, Rhino, Keyshot, Blender)
• Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
• Team player, proactive, self-motivated and able to work independently.
