Responsibilities:
Quality Management & Process Control
Develop and maintain engineering department policies, procedures, work instructions (WI);
Establish and maintain operational quality control processes;
Support continuous improvement initiatives for maintenance quality and reliability;
Ensure compliance with Quality Management System (QMS) requirements;
Lead the Rolling Stock Workshop Quality Control Team.
Internal Audit
Lead internal audit activities for Rolling Stock Maintenance;
Prepare audit schedules, checklists, and reports;
Identify non-conformities and coordinate corrective action follow-up;
Monitor effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions.
FMEA & Risk Assessment
Lead Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) activities;
Identify critical maintenance and operational risks based on failure/breakdown history;
Conduct maintenance process reviews and risk assessments;
Implement and monitor mitigation measures.
Root Cause Analysis & Reliability Improvement
Investigate failures, defects, and abnormal maintenance events;
Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) activities;
Identify repeat defects and reliability concerns;
Recommend and monitor preventive and corrective actions.
Maintenance Data Analysis
Establish and maintain maintenance and quality databases;
Analyse maintenance data, trends, breakdown statistics, and reliability performance;
Prepare monthly performance reports (KPI), trending analysis, and forecasting;
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain engineering documentation control system;
Coordinate WI review and update activities;
Prepare technical reports, audit reports, and analysis reports;
Present maintenance performance trends and quality findings to management.
Project & Quality Support
Provide quality management support for new projects and maintenance initiatives;
Participate in engineering improvement projects;
Support implementation of best practices and standardization.
Requirements:
Bachelor Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Engineering, or related discipline;
Minimum 3 years relevant experience in Engineering, QA/QC, Maintenance Quality, or Reliability Engineering;
Experience in railway, transportation, manufacturing, maintenance, or heavy industry environment preferred;
Good knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS);
Strong Root Cause Analysis (RCA) skills;
Knowledge of FMEA methodology and risk assessment;
Experience with Macro/VBA, SQL, Power BI, or other data analysis tools preferred;
Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese;
Strong sense of ownership and accountability;
Detail-oriented and capable of systematic analysis.
