Responsible for overall multimedia design strategy and execution related to product go-to-market (GTM) initiatives.
Lead the visual design and overall creative direction for product launch campaigns.
Collaborate closely with the marketing, branding, PR, and growth teams to translate business goals into clear and effective design output.
Ensure consistency and high-quality presentation of all marketing designs across various channels.
2. Major Website / Official Site Design & Management (Core Responsibility)
Oversee the overall design direction and user experience quality of the company’s official website and major marketing websites.
Lead the information architecture, page framework, and visual system design for the websites.
Drive the end-to-end creation or major revamps of the official websites.
Work with product, content, SEO, and tech teams to ensure that design solutions are implementable and support business growth.
Lead the design team in continuously optimizing the website experience, including improving conversion rates, responsive design, and accessibility.
3. Team Management & Talent Development (Key Focus)
Manage and lead the Hong Kong design team, fostering an efficient and positive design culture.
Responsible for the development and growth of junior designers, including:
New hire onboarding
Daily design guidance and reviews
One-on-one coaching and career development planning
Help junior and mid-level designers improve their design skills, business understanding, and communication abilities.
Set team goals, work norms, and design standards to enhance overall output quality.
Participate in recruiting, interviewing, and team expansion planning to build a sustainable design talent team.
4. Project & Cross-Department Collaboration
Allocate design resources effectively, managing priorities and delivery cadence across multiple concurrent projects.
Serve as a bridge between marketing, product, and technical teams to enhance collaboration efficiency.
Manage external design resources (agencies/freelancers) to ensure design quality and brand consistency.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or above in Visual Communication, Web Design, Digital Media, or related fields
Over 8 years of experience in Marketing, Web, or Digital Design
Experience in designing major websites or official sites (required), with proven cases of building from scratch or leading major redesigns
Experience in managing design teams, with a track record of mentoring junior/young designers and the ability to provide career development guidance to different types of multimedia designers
Strong visual design skills, with a solid understanding of UX and interaction design principles
Proficient in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and other design tools
Familiar with responsive design and design delivery processes, with an understanding of front-end implementation logic
Excellent project management skills, able to drive work forward in a fast-paced environment
Mature, steady, and equipped with a coaching mindset for management
Strong communication skills in both Chinese and English; proficiency in Mandarin and English is preferred
Nice to Have
Experience with SaaS, eCommerce, or 3C hardware product official websites
Familiarity with self-hosted eCommerce platforms such as Shopify
Experience with data-driven design, A/B testing, or conversion rate optimization (CRO)
Experience building design systems or brand visual systems
Experience managing cross-regional or international teams
