Be the main point of contact between the CAMO function, Lead Captains, MRO, IOC and KAM. Be accountable for continuing airworthiness compliance, maintenance management and asset management.
Key Accountabilities:
Co-ordinate scheduled and unscheduled maintenance events including AOG recovery and take part in a 24/7 AOG call out roster. Act as liaison between the client, Lead Captain, Ops and MRO for any airworthiness related matters. Communicate with client, Lead Captain and Ops for any changes in flight schedule. Organize maintenance in an effective and efficient manner to minimize cost and down time.
Ensure regulatory compliance and Certificate of Airworthiness continuity. Comply Minimum Equipment List and Maintenance Program, and directly liaise with authorities for various approvals.
Review and ensure compliance of Airworthiness Directive and technical directives. Evaluate Aircraft Service Change, Service Bulletin, and optional modification for incorporation value within the warranty period.
Provide guidance to Technical Officer with regards to Technical Records management and maintenance data update.
Monitor Acceptable Deferrable Defect (including interior defect) for expiry, aircraft operating restrictions and spare status.
Complete 100% audit of maintenance workcards/Return-to-service/Certificate of Release to Service. Monitor and update aircraft maintenance tracking system (CAMP) for aircraft maintenance status.
Review maintenance invoices.
Project lead of aircraft deliveries and ownership/operator transfers, audits from banks, ISBAO, etc.
Control aircraft spares/inventory, warranty, insurance, subscriptions and programs.
Build a positive and transparent relationship internally and externally.
Assist ad-hoc projects / tasks as instructed by the management
Job Specifications
Education:
Degree Holder in any aviation or relevant disciplines is preferable
Preferably holding a HKCAD or other equivalent Maintenance Engineer License
Experience:
Minimum 3 years airworthiness experience in in aviation industry
Specific Competencies, Skills and Knowledge:
Computer literacy
Good command in both the written and spoken English is essential
Multi-tasking
Ability to interpret aircraft inspection manuals, airworthiness directives and service bulletins and can understand and communicate within a technical or specialized subject-matter, particularly as it pertains to aviation and the aviation industry
Additional Qualities Desired:
Work various shifts and days off as required
