Key Responsibilities:

• 40-50% of time to work as a 3rd party research analyst to provide fixed income credit write-ups, analysis, additions and removal of coverage, and recommendations to the global advisory and global investment committees. This also includes providing tactical and longer-term trade ideas (plus advisory of corporate actions too) to the front office working in partnership with the fixed income specialist in Singapore in the coverage of Asian based credits and with our European counterparts to formalize a coherent and comprehensive product coverage. Performance will be measured by the number and performance of ideas and penetration/implementation rates.
• 30-40% of time in client engagement activities for direct coverage on fixed income products including structured rates and credits investments. Efforts will be measured by performance of the client portfolio and revenues generated at a later stage.
• 20-30% of the time to maintain the data integrity of the bondlinc platform and liaise with vendor for improvements and other features.

As a Fixed income product asset class owner, the specialist is expected to build and expand the product penetration including cash bonds and structured rates and credit products.

University graduates in Finance related discipline

• 5 to 8 years’ experience in investment advisory
• Private banking background with experience in trading and portfolio management preferred

• Good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated and a good team-player
• Ability to work under pressure
