Job Description
Lead the university & institution partnership programmes to connect with renowned universities and research institutes worldwide with objectives to create and bring in commercialization and entrepreneurship opportunities
Develop engagement strategies and execute the plans for prospect institutions and projects
Build and maintain good relationships with high-tech companies, industry leaders, universities, institutions, start-up communities, incubators, government authorities, etc. to build the pipeline of business opportunities and facilitate partnership formation in Hong Kong Science Park
Have good knowledge of innovation landscape, public and private funding mechanism, policies and practice
Keep abreast of technology trends & other market intelligence and transform them into business opportunities
Chair the marketing activities including delegation visits to promote HKSP as an innovation and technology hub
Support other initiatives of the business development team and perform such other duties as assigned by the Chief Commercial Officer
Job Requirements
Holder of university degree preferably in Engineering- or Science-related subjects; post-graduate degree preferred;
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in new business development, of which at least 5 years in managerial level;
Experience in working in universities is a definite advantage
Extensive network with high-tech companies, industries, especially with academia;
A deep understanding of the global technology landscape; A vision for emerging technologies and experienced in technology transfer/ commercialization of Biomedical Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Smart City, Fintech, Advanced Materials Manufacturing is desirable;
The minimum salary is HK$80,000 and the max salary is HK$100,000.
