Role Overview
We are seeking a Fullstack Developer (Frontend Heavy) to join the Quantitative Technology team, focusing on high-performance UI development for mission-critical trading systems. You will build and maintain real-time monitoring interfaces that handle extreme data volumes and bandwidth-intensive streams with zero compromise on speed or reliability, while also integrating with backend services as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
High-Performance UI: Develop and optimize web-based GUIs for real-time trading system monitoring, ensuring sub-millisecond responsiveness.
Data-Heavy Visualization: Design interfaces that handle large, rapidly updating datasets with seamless user experience.
Fullstack Integration: Collaborate on backend APIs and data pipelines to ensure smooth data flow between frontend and services.
Rapid Iteration: Implement rapid cycles to support evolving business needs, working directly with traders and researchers.
Required Skills & Experience:
Core Tech: Strong proficiency in React, TypeScript, WebSockets, D3.js with a focus on high-performance, low-latency interfaces.
Fullstack Capability: Familiarity with backend APIs, data pipelines, and integration points—enough to collaborate effectively and bridge frontend with services.
Real-Time Data: Deep experience with real-time data visualization and performance tuning for data-heavy applications.
Finance Background: Prior experience in financial services is essential—specifically with trading systems, market data, or quantitative platforms.
Data Intensity: Proven track record of building interfaces that handle large, rapidly updating datasets without performance degradation.
