About this role
As our practice continues to expand and the number of new cases increases steadily, we are looking for a reliable and committed team member to join us as a Legal Secretary, starting from the ground floor, learning how a real law firm operates, and growing with us in the long run.

Every colleague in our firm begins with reception and administrative work before progressing to more substantive responsibilities. This is by design: it builds the foundation everything else depends on, with a clear long-term career pathway in the legal field.

We invest heavily in training, on case discussions, client communication practice, and professional development. Our work is detail-driven, client-facing, and meaningful.

This role is for you if you genuinely want a legal career, are willing to start from reception, and are looking for long-term.

This is not for you if you are looking for an internship, a light administrative role, or a position to fulfil a course requirement.

What you will do and where you can go

• Starting point for everyone
• Reception, answering enquiries, greeting clients, managing incoming and outgoing documents, filing, scanning, and general office administration.
• As you build confidence and understanding

Simple client communication; basic document preparation; opening and maintaining case files; relaying instructions and updates under guidance.

• For those who demonstrate capability and commitment

Liaising with government departments, opposing solicitors, and various parties on behalf of the firm; following case timelines; independently managing communication on ongoing matters.Handling case segments with greater independence; acting as a reliable point of contact for clients; supporting the solicitor as a trusted case handler.About Us

What We’re Looking For

• Fluent Cantonese speaker; able to communicate naturally with Hong Kong clients across different backgrounds and age groups.
• Able to read and type in both Traditional Chinese and English. You do not need to write polished English prose, but you must be able to read English legal documents with reasonable comprehension.
• Genuine interest in the legal field, not just a passing curiosity, but a real intention to build a career in law.
• Responsible, self-aware, and willing to be held to a high standard of accuracy and follow-through.
• Mature working attitude, able to manage yourself, ask questions when genuinely uncertain, and take ownership of tasks.
• Willing to begin with basic duties and work upward. This is a non-negotiable part of how we operate.

No prior legal experience is required. What matters is your attitude, your capacity to learn, and how serious you are about the legal field.

Compensation & Benefits

• Starting salary (full-time) : HKD $11,000–$14,000/month, adjusted for ability
• Starting salary (part-time) : $70/hr
• Performance bonus : Quarterly, post-probation, based on demonstrated performance

• Professional development : Partial course sponsorship (e.g. HKU SPACE legal studies) for those who progress

Working Hours

• 10am–6pm (15-min buffer) (flexible lunch hour), Mon – Fri
• OT not expected
