About the Role
Spring Asia Pacific is part of a global logistics network supporting cross-border e-commerce and shipping solutions. We are looking for an IT Integration Consultant to manage system integrations across customers, carriers, and internal platforms.
This is a customer-facing role where you will handle end-to-end integrations, connecting external platforms to Spring’s systems using APIs and other digital solutions. You will help onboard customers efficiently, improve processes, and support ongoing digital development.
Job responsibilities:
Responsible for integrating Spring Asia Pacific customers into Spring’s shipping services through APIs, web portals, e-commerce platform plugins, and SFTP
The IT Integration Consultant serves as the link between customers, carriers, platforms, Customer Service, Account Management, and our IT organization, ensuring the integration process runs as smoothly as possible
The IT Integration Consultant understands the implications of customer needs and our operational processes regarding IT integrations, and advises on process improvements
Integrate logistical carriers/partners within our systems, coordinating between developers, product managers, and partners from requirements definition through testing and go-live
Connect customers to our APIs, e-commerce platform plugins, and web portals
Provide continuous development and support for our expanding platform connections
Describe and implement optimal, sustainable processes for connecting and maintaining APIs and plugins
Propose optimizations and improvements to current processes for different stakeholders
Ensure customer and carrier setups are well organized, including incident management and logging
Address, handle, and resolve customer inquiries regarding API connections, CSV files, and offered products and services in accordance with company guidelines and policies
Maintain up-to-date IT knowledge and integration techniques to remain a knowledgeable liaison for customer IT departments
Involve account managers and/or developers in a timely manner when issues are too complex or unclear
Initiate changes to create new integration solutions and/or process optimizations
Translate customer needs into effective IT solutions
Provide timely and efficient support for new customer cases, perform feasibility checks, and advise Sales and other commercial stakeholders on required integration steps
Assist in tender processes when required
Contribute ideas for optimization and improvement within the IT department
Act as backup for the Senior IT Officer at Spring Asia Pacific when required.
Job Requirements
Degree holder, preferably in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline
Minimum 5 years of experience in a relevant field, with hands-on expertise in APIs, data (databases, JSON, CSV), system integration, troubleshooting, migrations, and software development
Knowledge of APIs (e.g. REST/SOAP), programming languages, and integration techniques
Familiarity with the full integration lifecycle, including design, testing, and deployment, is an advantage
Proficient in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
Result-oriented with a can-do attitude
Able to work effectively in a multicultural team environment
High level of IT savviness with a strong business mindset and customer focus
Strong sense of responsibility with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Innovative, open to change, and receptive to new ideas
Good communication skills, with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Willingness to travel on a case-by-case basis as required.
