Company Overview
Jabez Innovation Limited performs advanced R&D to accelerate the application of integrated technologies for noise and vibration control. Our primary focus is railway vibration and high-frequency floor vibration (≥25 Hz), areas in which we hold a leading global position. We frequently file patents in the company’s name, listing our researchers as inventors for new methods and products in noise and vibration mitigation.
Currently, we lead the world in addressing curve-track corrugation using our Rigid Contact Tuned Mass Damper (RCTMD), achieving a 70–90% reduction in corrugation growth rate versus the typical 30–50% achieved by competitors.
Role Summary
We are hiring a Project Engineer to support measurement and consultancy projects about railway noise and vibration. You will plan and perform field measurements, analyse data, prepare technical reports and proposals, liaise with stakeholders, and provide support to research and development activities as required.

- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Acoustics, or a related field
- Strong interest in railway systems, noise and vibration measurement, and practical problem solving
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Desirable (Not Required)
- Experience with field measurement equipment (accelerometers, sound level meters, data acquisition systems)
- Knowledge of railway track and vehicle dynamics
- Proficiency in signal processing and data analysis (FFT, filtering, time‑frequency analysis)
- Competence in finite element modelling or multibody dynamics
- Familiarity with 3D CAD (e.g., SOLIDWORKS) and technical drawing
- Experience preparing proposals, tender documents, and client reports
Primary Responsibilities
- Plan, conduct and supervise on‑site measurements of railway noise and vibration (trackside, in‑vehicle, structural, floor vibration)
- Set up and maintain instrumentation, data acquisition systems and calibration procedures
- Analyse measurement data, perform signal processing, and interpret results against standards and client requirements
- Prepare clear technical reports, measurement statements and consultancy deliverables
- Engage directly with clients, operators and manufacturers to define scopes, present findings, and recommend mitigation measures
- Support design and modelling efforts (FEA/FEM) as required and collaborate with R&D team members
- Contribute to proposal writing, project planning and commercial aspects of consultancy projects
