Having worked within more than 10 teams from 30+ nationalities in the past year , I can confidently state that their are a couple of necessary elements that have to be present from a team to be effective . The first would be an open and safe atmosphere , which means no judgement and everyone's opinion should be heard. ( this varies depending on the complexity of the task at hand and the time limit ) sometimes you need to take action quickly relying on the experience of the most senior individuals.
