Whats the format. Is there a group exercise/presentations/tests for this positions And whats the best way to prepare for an assessment day.

I did not have a phone interview but in general they will belooking for 'fit' (i.e. are you going to fit in with our culture). Additionally, they are going to ask about prior experiences, why you decided to do what you did (based on your resume), and what skillsets you have developed (strengths). Its an engineering firm that emphasises collaboration - so stressing your analytical skills and experiences working in teams is probably your best bet imo. The culture at their HQs is very midwest if that makes sense - so try to come off as a person who is easy to get along with.
